Weather Balloon Data

As you’ve learned, the radiosonde attached to the weather balloon is taking observations of temperature and humidity throughout the atmosphere. In meteorology, pressure is used to measure height in the atmosphere.

In order for meteorologists to understand what’s going on in the atmosphere, this data is plotted on a special chart, called a Skew-T Diagram.
