Measuring Weather

Measures air temperature or how hot or cold the air is. Hot air has more energy and faster moving particles than cold air.

Measures air pressure. Air pressure is determined by the weight of the air, which can change depending on temperature and how much water is in the air.

Measures the relative humidity of the air. Relative humidity is the percentage of water vapor in the air relative to the total amount of water vapor air could hold at that temperature.

Measures wind speed. Wind speed can determine how fast or slow weather fronts are moving.
