Snow! - Did You Know?

All precipitation starts out as snow! It’s true!
Every form of precipitation, including every rain drop, starts as a snowflake.
In the cold upper parts of our atmosphere, moisture in the air creates snow in a process called “Deposition”.
Deposition happens when water vapor changes directly to ice without first changing to a liquid.
