What is Pressure?

Pressure is a force that is exerted over a surface area.

In the atmosphere, air molecules are constantly in motion and when they bounce off objects, they give them a tiny push. When this push (force) is divided by the area it pushes against, it is called pressure. (pressure = force/area)
