Epidemiology

When we talk about “public health”, we are really considering the human population from a given area as a whole.

An epidemiologist designs, collects, analyzes, interprets, and disseminates the results of the patterns, causes and effects of health, and disease impacts on defined populations. These scientists inform decision makers of potential impacts to humans by identifying risks and offering preventative solutions.
