Melting Glaciers

Glaciers are the ‘storytellers’ of changing climates. Ice that took centuries to develop can vanish in a few years. When a glacier melts, the albedo of the surface changes, allowing for more heat to be absorbed by the earth’s surface, increasing temperatures.
