Atmospheric Pressure

Changes in barometric pressure can have impacts on many parts of the human body.

  • Joint Pain - sudden changes in pressure can trigger pain, especially in joints that have been injured.
  • Headache - changes in pressure have been linked as a possible trigger for headaches, possibly caused by pressure in the brain and sinuses.
  • Diabetes - fronts are associated with low pressures which can cause restriction of body vessels, making it harder for insulin to be absorbed.
