Maple Trees

Most of the species of maple trees are native to Asia, though a number of them are in Europe, North American, and northern Africa. Maples are a popular choice for the art of bonsai, tray planting, and pruning, in Japan. There are used in landscaping due to their vibrant colors.

Maple trees are more commonly known for the collection of sap, which is boiled to produce maple syrup.
