Solar Radiation - What is it?

Light energy from the Sun reaches the Earth as visible, infrared, and ultraviolet (UV) rays.
These rays are part of the electromagnetic spectrum, which contains all the types of light in order of their frequencies and wavelengths.
Remember that light energy from the Sun travels in waves through space by radiation, which means it does not touch any other material.
