If you multiply the frequency of a wave times its wavelength, the product will always be: the speed of light! 3 x 108 m/s.
Let’s try it:
If a radio wave has a wavelength of 10 meters, what is its frequency? Show your work in your notebook.
Wavelength x frequency = speed of light
10 meters x frequency = 3 x 108 m/s
3 x 108 m/s รท 10 meters = 3 x 107 waves/second
