Drought

Drought is the number one enemy of fireworks displays.
Drought happens when a place has had very little rainfall and conditions are very dry.
Most big fireworks shows are launched over water to reduce the risk of starting fires from remaining burning embers in wooded areas.
Sometimes, when there is a fire risk in an area because of drought, bans will be put on the sale of fireworks and shows can be canceled.
