Temperature and Ball Flight

Warmer air is lighter and thinner than cold air. This causes less resistance by reducing drag, so the ball travels farther than it would in colder air.
Altitude also can impact drag and resistance. The higher the altitude, the thinner the air and the less resistance will act on the ball.
