Great Job! Keep learning about ocean currents.
Drift: Warm water in the North Atlantic ocean moves slowly Eastward to Europe. This current can be up to hundreds of miles wide and water can slow to under 1 mph.
Boundary Current: The Gulf Stream flows Northward along the Eastern coast of the United States carrying warm water from the tropics. This current is narrow and fast.
Oceanic Front: The Pacific White Line (seen here from space) is a collection of organisms gathered where two water currents come together, or converge.
