Our WeatherSTEM station and sky camera at the CCEM Corolla Fire Station #61 in Currituck County, NC remained online during Hurricane Florence and was able to capture data from the northern side of the storm. In the previous slide, the data from the tidal station in Duck, NC (5 miles south of the WeatherSTEM station) shows the increase in the storm surge.
