Seek shade, especially between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, which are the peak burn hours. Use a sunscreen with a SPF of 30 or higher. Apply sunscreen 20 minutes prior to going outside, and reapply sunscreen every two hours; more frequently. Wear UV sun protective clothing, wide brimmed hats, polarized sunglasses
