Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide Levels

Using proxy data from ice cores and direct measurements, we have a clear picture of the changing concentration of carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere over the last 650,000 years. After around 1950, atmospheric CO₂ levels increase rapidly. Study the graph to see how levels of this greenhouse gas have changed over time.
