Solar Radiation - Diffuse Measurements
One of the two ways to measure solar radiation is by making diffuse observations using a radiometer known as a pyranometer. These instruments are designed for measuring the solar irradiance from a 180° field of view. A pyranometer typically does not require power to operate.
