Corn Production

Corn production plays a significant role in the economy, and the United States exports almost 40% of the world’s total corn exports.

Nearly 70% of the corn produced across the world is used for purposes other than human consumption. These uses include:

• Animal Feed (33%)
• Used for Biofuels/Ethanol (27%)
• Distiller Grains (10%)

Corn is also used in the production of sweeteners, starches, and cereals.
