- The 2010 U.S. Open Finals between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic was suspended twice due to rain. The match was originally pushed back a day as rain hammered down on the courts. When they resumed play the next day, Rafael Nadal went up 6-4, 4-4 (30-30), but rain, lightning, and thunderstorms once again delayed the match. After a few hours, the players took the court and finished the match. Nadal closed out the Grand Slam final 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, 6-2.
